Justice McCray is a screenwriter, currently earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Full Sail University. Underneath his yellow umbrella, McCray questions every aspect of the life around him, documenting his answers in a mustard tinted tone. As an unspoken child, McCray meandered through libraries with his zip-tied lips, reading his way through the contemporary world. The trained artist now walks with a closed mouth and open ears, on an ink-bound journey to find his voice. He paints stories of the moral dilemmas that are easier to ignore; and offers a lighthearted glow to today's vexatious reality.

 

McCray's work has been featured in Exposed Literary Magazine and Scarlett Leaf Review. He enjoys the theatre and has stage managed several small productions. McCray is the Youth President of the Southern Dutchess Branch of the NAACP, and has been titled the youngest commissioner on the City of Beacon's Commission on Human Relations. He is the recipient of the 2016 Helen Savoit Education Award for library advocacy. For his dedication and service to his community, McCray has also received a certificate of recognition from New York Senator Sue Serino, and a citation from New York State Assemblyman Frank Skartados. In his free time, McCray enjoys baking seasonal desserts, collecting bowties, and playing badminton.
